The Automated Commercial Environment, ACE, is a US Customs and Border Protection system designed to replace paper manifests, expedite trade and increase information sharing among government agencies, while enhancing border security. Keep drivers informed via fax, voice, pager, text message, e-mail or the Web and cross the border with ease. Multiple logins allow client access to the system for keying-in shipment details. Save time by sending EDI, XML or flat file data from existing systems to IES's system, then edit or add missing manifest data online. Since this data is available in the IES Customs House Broker system, it speeds preparing entries based on the manifest records. Stored shipment, trip, conveyance, equipment, in-bond and crew details eliminate entering duplicate data-entry. This central repository of information allows easy monitoring and management of shipments, approvals and status messages while simultaneously reducing border processing time. Trucked cargo manifest information must be received by CBP into its ACE systems at least 1 hour prior to arrival at a US land border crossing or 30 minutes prior to arrival for shipments qualifying for FAST, Free and Secure Trade program. While the Customs broker is still required to file an entry and in-bond movement, the truck carrier must transmit the manifest or face CBP penalties. Using IES' Web accessible system dramatically eases compliance with these new regulations. As the leading service provider in transportation software, processing thousands of encrypted transactions per day, with direct connection to CBP for AMS, AES, EIB and ABI, our clients are not required to enter into an Interconnectivity Security Agreement, (ISA) with CBP. The user-friendly interface and 24 hour support eliminate user downtime while IES' error code translation ends discrepant manifests. |
Key Benefits: • Full EDI, XML and flat file communication capabilities
